Our Review of Banzai Megabounce Trampoline

We all know how endless our kids’ energy can be. And although it can be fun to watch them play and run around, it can be difficult to keep an eye on them the entire time (admit it – you’ve been there too!). That’s why toys that contain your kids can be the perfect type of toy, so long as you make sure they’re safe. A swimming pool contains your child, but obviously you’d never want to take your eye off the little guy while he was having a dip in the backyard pool!

Is the Banzai Mega Bounce Safe? Is it Good?

It is probably a very safe toy, but not for children under 3. The Amazon page says “choking hazard — small parts” in big bold letters. I’m not sure what small parts they are talking about, but maybe it’s best not to question it. Buy this toy for a child who is at least 3-4 years old, not younger. You should also make sure you do not put more than one child inside at a time, because trampolines can lead to small child collisions, bumped heads and tears. Play safe and you’ll be fine.

If you are looking for an inflatable trampoline for smaller children, we suggest the Little Tikes Bounce House available at this link.

Rating-wise, the product gets 4.5 stars out of 5 over at Amazon, and it was reviewed by 11 people at the time of this writing. That’s a good sample size and tells you people DO like this product. Customers like that the inflation fan does not need to be left in the “on” position, unlike a bouncy castle. If it goes a bit soft, you just turn the fan on briefly and you’re back in business. It sees like this product is best for indoor use because if you leave it out in the rain it will collect water and get kinda nasty. Enough said.

Trampolines are fantastic for exercise, no doubt about it. If you are considering getting this toy for your child, I congratulate you on your thinking. This is better than a video game, and probably a lot more fun too. I have so many fond memories of jumping on a trampoline as a child, I’d wish for any child to have those same memories.

This is a fantastic winter toy! If you live anywhere that gets cold, an indoor trampoline like this is just so wonderful to have in the house when it’s too cold and miserable to go outside. Keep that in mind.

If you are looking for a larger outdoor toy, I recommend this Castle Inflatable Bounce House with Slide. It’s getting amazing customer reviews also.

The Banzai Mega Bounce is about 8 feet in diameter when fully inflated, so you’ll need to have enough space to accommodate it, whether indoors or outdoors. It is made from durable PVC material, but in case it gets punctured with a sharp zipper or anything else, it does come with a repair kit. PVC is easy to repair so long as the puncture is not on a seam (most of the time it’s not, so you’ll be fine).

Here is some customer feedback on the Banzai Mega Bounce Trampoline:

“This is a nice alternative to one of the regular bounce houses. It is different than the others in that you just use the fan to inflate the trampoline or to add air to it if it’s low – it doesn’t require the fan to keep it inflated…All in all, it is a good jumping toy.” – Amazon Customer

“This product is awesome! Great for exercise, especially in the winter time! … I wish the sides were a little higher, but it seems safe enough.” – Amazon Customer
